Audition Times & Divisions:
9:30 - 11:00am - DIVISION 1 (Junior 1 & 2)
11:15 - 12:45pm - DIVISION 2 (Inter 1 & 2)
1:00 - 2:30pm - DIVISION 3 (Pre-Voc & Voc 1)
2:45 - 4:15pm - DIVISION 4 (Vocational 2 - 4)
How to prepare:
Register based on current 2025/26 class level
Registration is required
$20 (+gst) Audition fee to be paid upon registration
Audition registrations close Wednesday, May 6th
Dancers - Arrive 10-15 min early, wear your set dance attire, bare feet, bring a bottle of water, and be prepared to dance your heart out!
Parents - A Parent Information Meeting will be help at the start of each audition, 1 parent from each family is expected to attend.

After a performance, it is a long-standing tradition for dancers to receive flowers from their supporters. At Crossings, we are proud to continue this tradition at our Recital while also using it as an annual fundraiser for the Shirley Agate-Proust Legacy Fund, which helps support dancers with financial need. We invite you to consider supporting both your dancer and the Crossings community by participating in this meaningful offering.
Roses are available for PRE-ORDER during the weeks of April 15 – May 8. A limited number of Roses will be available for purchase in the foyer during the Recital & Showcase. We encourage you to consider pre-ordering your roses as a way for us to ensure the correct number of roses are ordered. Pre-Orders can be made online only.

PHOTO WEEK & FINAL WEEK OF CLASS
Crossings parents are invited to join us for the week of
Monday, June 1 - Saturday, June 6 for Photo Week!
Please refer to the Photo Week schedule coming to your email inbox this week, or on our website for specific dates & times.
Upon arrival for class, dancers will dress in full Recital costume, hair and makeup. Parents will then be invited in to class to watch their child's dance one more time and take photos of your child in costume. Please refer to the Photo Week schedule for specific times.

Pilates and Somatics for Strength, Mobility, and Balance with Karen Sudds
This mat-based class integrates Pilates principles with Somatic education techniques developed by Thomas Hanna, tailored for adults seeking to maintain or improve functional movement. The class emphasizes neuromuscular retraining to release chronic tension patterns while reinforcing core stability, mobility, and balance.
Key objectives include:
· Developing core support for postural alignment and daily activity
· Enhancing mobility and joint health through mindful, controlled movement
· Improving balance and proprioception for safety and confidence
· Applying Somatic principles to increase awareness and reduce movement limitations
· This Pilates-Somatics class helps to maintain strength, mobility, and balance for everyday living.
