HALLOWEEN WEEK
We know that many of our students are missing out on Halloween festivities while school is out, so students are encouraged to wear their costume to dance the week of October 27 - 31!
Please note that classes run as usual on Friday, October 31st.
IMPORTANT - This is a ghost/witch/goblin/zombie free zone. Please wear age appropriate and fun/friendly costumes! No gore or anything scary will be permitted. Costumes must not interfere with dancers' ability to move in class, and should be worn over top of their regular dance attire should teachers require costumes to be removed.

We have another exciting, super festive ONE-DAY FUN-DAY coming your way!

PARENTS ✧ Need a little time for Christmas shopping, baking, or just taking a break?!!
We are excited to be bringing back our ONE-DAY FUN-DAY Dance Parties as a way to provide fun opportunities for young dancers to move, create and explore seasonal themes with new friends AND to provide YOU with a few free hours to run errands, do some Christmas shopping, catch up with a friend or just have an afternoon to yourself.
If you love all things Christmas, this is the party for you! This Christmas themed event will have your dancers twirling through blizzards, galloping with the reindeer, rolling like snowballs and leaping through winter wonderland obstacle courses! Dancers will also enjoy dance games and activities, making a Christmas craft, snack break, and story time!

Crossings Youth Dance Company (aka. CYDC) is thrilled to be able to continue the tradition of sharing DANCE with Churches, Schools, and Community events around Calgary during the Advent & Christmas season 🎄
Crossings Dance has continued to have a presence in Calgary churches and community for 35 years, offering a visual expression of worship and storytelling through live dance. CYDC’s mission as a company is to be a bridge between the church and dance community, providing the church with excellent and thought-provoking dance and bringing inspiring dance into the community.

Meet the CYDC dancers who make up our 2025/26 season!
Crossings Youth Dance Company (aka. CYDC) has been back in the studio since August preparing for our 2025/26 season! There are no words to describe the JOY, PASSION & DEDICATION these dancers bring to their art form 💕
This inspiring youth dance company is a Calgary faith-based performance group that provides an outlet for young dancers to develop their artistic skill and gain performance experience. Through mentorship of the whole dancer (body, mind, spirit) CYDC hopes to expand the dancers understanding and integration of faith and art.
