Crossings Youth Dance Company is back on stage!!
Join us for DRAW NEAR - a contemporary dance production featuring CYDC dancers and works from local, national, and international choreographers. Originally envisioned during CYDC’s 2020/21 season, DRAW NEAR brings together new additions and re-works reflecting the labour of the past two years of challenges, growth, and re-connecting with our community.
This production was inspired by our desire to draw near to God and each other in a culture that focuses on looking to ourselves for truth and fulfillment. DRAW NEAR explores themes of separation, loneliness, selfishness and selfless love, as well as how we can reconnect with God and our community around us.
What would our world look like if we turned our focus outward?
